‘The Place’ Youth and Community Centre opened in 1995. Since it opened, there have been a variety of changes to what is on offer to young people, although the ethos remains the same and ‘The Place’ is a centre for legal socialising for young people in Dunstable and the surrounding areas.

Let’s first introduce ourselves. CSV Millennium Volunteers operates throughout the whole of Bedfordshire, encouraging young people to volunteer and get national recognition through government-backed awards.

3. Caddington Hedgehogs Find out about hedgehogs.
Caddington Hedgehogs has now been running for just over three years and takes in the sick, orphaned and injured hedgehogs found wandering about Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.

4. Fireworks Beds & Luton Fire service have their say
A couple of facts from the Guinness book of Records:The largest ever single firework travelled 300 metres into the air. It was so big and powerful it had to be launched from a specially constructed pad made of concrete and steel .

Richard is an amazing guy who has made, and then lost millions over night. In order for Richard to retain some kind of sanity he began writing down his thoughts.
This transformed Richard’s life, and in his words his life

6.Tactic centre Centre for young people
The TACTIC Centre has been open for three and a half years; TACTIC stands for Teenage Advice Centre, Teenage Information Centre. We are open from 3 – 6 Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 3 – 7 Tuesday and Thursday and
12– 4 Saturday.
